1 kg fresh apricots, chopped
500 g white sugar
juice of 1/2 large lemon
1 cinnamon stick
1/4 c sliced blanched almonds
- Mix all above ingredients in big heavy bottomed pot on stove.
- Let cook on medium heat for around 10-20 minutes.
- When consistency is “jam-like” – thick, not runny, can be spooned – bottle the jam.
