William Faulkner’s Hot Toddy

Baby, It’s Cold Outside.

When she asks, “What’s in this drink?” — She’s talking about this!! 😉

Ingredients:

Bourbon (I like Maker’s Mark)
1 tsp sugar
1/2 lemon, squeezed
Boiling water

Glass: Use a heavy bottomed glass tumbler

Directions:

  1. Fill the tumbler half full with bourbon.
  2. Add sugar.
  3. Squeeze in the lemon juice.
  4. Stir until sugar dissolves.
  5. Top off with boiling water.
  6. Enjoy!
